If you enjoy video games, you will enjoy these two podcasts from 1UP. I've been listening to them both through iTunes for about 6 months now and really look forward to each episode.
The two shows are a study in contrasts and complement each other nicely.
The 1UP Show focuses on the console game market. The cast is very high-energy, with lots of jokes, cursing, and laughter. They also represent the console game market well as the conversation is often (usually?) on the teenage level. Its fun if a bit immature and I feel that I have learned a lot from their opinions.
The CGW Radio (soon to be renamed Windows Gaming something or other) is the grown-up alternative to the 1UP Show. The focus is PC games and the cast is much more mature and sedate. I particularly enjoy the frequent insults of total nerd gamers. As an adult father who also loves video games, its nice to confront the fact that a lot of gamers are not people you would invite over for dinner and to do it in a funny, self-deprecating way. CGW keeps it real for adult gamers with a heavy dose of sarcasm to spice up the game news.
